The UCOL Construction and Manufacturing Award was open to any business operating in the manufacturing, engineering or building sectors including all ancillary trades and service providers.
Refresh Renovations Manawatu has differentiated itself in the building market by specialising in home renovation.
Scafit Limited provides scaffolding solutions for construction and maintenance projects across the lower and central North Island.
OBO is a worldwide market-leader in manufacturing hockey goal-keeping equipment. It has also been nominated for the Higgins Spirit of the Manawatū Award.
UCOL Executive Dean of the Faculty of Trades and Technology, Dr Nicky Van der Bergh says the calibre of entrants was high and the bar was set early on in the interviews.
