Over 1990 students are eligible to graduate with Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees and Postgraduate qualifications in five upcoming Graduation ceremonies across UCOL’s locations. The graduands include domestic and international students fuelling the skills pipeline for businesses across New Zealand and overseas.
Many of the graduands will attend ceremonies in
Palmerston North,
Whanganui,
Wairarapa and Auckland during March and April to personally receive their new qualifications.
UCOL Chief Executive Leeza Boyce says graduation is the highlight of the year, and an opportunity for staff and the community to join new graduates in celebrating their achievements.
“We’re proud to say that UCOL has graduates from 62 different countries working all over the globe. We trust that this year’s graduates will take the experience, skills, and knowledge they’ve gained from their time at UCOL to make a difference in the world. We look forward to seeing what they can accomplish and where their qualifications take them.”
The biggest group of students to graduate in Palmerston North and Wairarapa will contribute to the health and science sectors, reflecting UCOL’s strength and expertise in fields such as Nursing, Medical Imaging Technology, and Sport Science. In Whanganui the largest group of graduates will come from the School of Technologies, which includes programmes in Apiculture, Hospitality, Cookery, Hairdressing, and Beauty.
There is a great line up of keynote speakers for the ceremonies who will impart words of wisdom and inspiration on the graduands. After the Palmerston North and Whanganui ceremonies there will be processions along the streets to celebrate.
